Different Types of Blackjack 21
In Blackjack casino you can find different types of 21 games. In this way the player can try other variations if he wants to play Blackjack in some other way than the way it is conventionally played. Read on and learn about popular variations in 21 online Blackjack. Or chech out the some other blackjack variants and rules .
Single Deck Blackjack
Single deck blackjack is probably the favorite among players because it is the one that gives you the most chances of winning compared to others. The house advantage is very low in this variation. Using a single deck of cards is more likely to draw Blackjack 21 than using multiple decks.
Additionally, the odds of the dealer also having a 21 are less than using more than one deck. This way, if he rolls 21 there is less chance of a tie than using 6 or 8 decks. As if that weren't enough, it's very easy to draw a good card when doubled with an 11 or a 10.
The disadvantage of this variation is that the casino probably pays less than the usual 3:2 when Blackjack is drawn.
Double Exposure Blackjack
Double exposure Blackjack is also very popular among professional gamblers. As the name implies, in this variant of Blackjack the dealer's cards are visible to the player. The disadvantage is that the player loses the ties unless he draws Blackjack 21 (in this case it is not paid to the usual 3:2 but only 1:1).
As you would expect, this variant is not recommended for players who are just starting the game. In double exposure Blackjack the casino advantage is superior to any other variant.
Other rules of this game include that you can only separate once and no safe bets are allowed.
Perfect Pair Blackjack
The Blackjack variant of the perfect pairs is considered as a classic Blackjack game on which a side bet is made. Moreover, the side bet that is made on this variant can be added to practically any other variant of Blackjack without having to modify the rules of that variant.
In the Blackjack of the perfect pairs 2 to 8 packs of cards can be used. The bet is made at the beginning of the game and if the player gets perfect pairs on his first two cards, he wins. The payment is made immediately to the player who gets these cards and there is no need to wait for the outcome of the game to receive the payment.
It must be said that not only the perfect pairs are paid. Here are the different types of pairs with which you can win the bet as well as the payout you receive for each of them.
- Perfect pair (e.g. 2 queens of hearts) pays 25 to 1.
- Pair of colors (e.g. 5 spades and 5 diamonds) must have the same rank and color, pay 12 to 1.
- Red/black pair (e.g. 3 diamonds and 3 clovers) must have the same rank but not the same color and pay 6 to 1.
Less Common Blackjack Variations
There are other variations of Blackjack that are not as common as those mentioned above. These are:
Blackjack Switch: The player can exchange his cards for the first two cards at the top of the deck.
Triple 7 Blackjack: It is played as a classic Blackjack with a side bet that will give as prize a progressive pot if the player obtains 3 cards 7 of diamonds. It is played with 5 decks. If you feel lucky you can try this game. Progressive jackpots are very eye-catching and sometimes you find amounts in excess of $10,000 or even $100,000.
Spanish 21: It is one of the most recent as it was invented in 1995. Its popularity has grown as it favors the player because cards equal to 10 (J, K, Q) are removed from the deck and played as a classic Blackjack.
